Cocoon

Cocoon is a West London ecstatic dance collective co-founded by Morpho and Olivia, who share a love of dance, sacred spaces, transformation and community-building. They host conscious, sober ecstatic dance gatherings at venues in Ealing, including Ealing Green Church and OPEN Ealing. Ecstatic dance, as they practise it, is a freeform movement journey where the music guides the room: sessions start gently, gradually build energy toward a peak, then draw participants back down into a period of integration. There are no set steps or right way to move, and events are held in substance-free spaces to keep the focus on presence, self-expression and connection. Their gatherings are themed and often feature guest DJs, with recent evenings including sessions accompanied by cacao. Tickets and event announcements are shared through Eventbrite and their Instagram, and the space is designed to be welcoming, safe and community-centred, offering a place to move, express and reconnect through dance.
