Ecstatic Dance Brighton offers a welcoming, freeform dance experience inspired by the human desire for community, movement, and music. Often described as a moving meditation, it encourages participants to connect with their body’s natural rhythms and move freely in response to moment-to-moment sensations. Sessions blend gentle relaxation, energetic release, deep stretching, and stillness, fostering physical fitness, emotional expression, and nervous system regulation. Dancing barefoot or in gripped socks, in comfortable clothing, all ages and backgrounds are embraced in a safe, sober, and nonverbal space designed to promote presence, compassion, and self-discovery. No prior experience required.
