Full Power Cacao

Full Power Cacao — conscious events

Full Power Cacao is a UK ceremonial cacao business founded by Liam Browne. Its core product is 100% ceremonial-grade single-origin Sur del Lago Criollo cacao from Venezuela, sold in pouches from 100g to 2kg, plus nibs, single servings and a 5kg trade size, with a subscription option. The shop also carries SugaVida blossom nectar, organic agave dark syrup, coconut palm sugar, a Himalayan pink salt grinder, apparel, an Ixcacao goddess statue and several books. The company appeared on Dragons' Den and says the Dragons backed the vision. Alongside the products it publishes a public events calendar, and the listed dates take two forms. The first is a Full Power Cacao ceremony at a named venue; the calendar currently lists one, at The Watershed, 22 Bridge Street, Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, ticketed via Eventbrite. The second is a presence at UK festivals and outdoor gatherings, where the team prepares and serves cacao on site: Loveherder Festival at Birkrigg Park, Stainton, Kendal; 3 Wishes Fairy Fest at Garslade Farm, Godney, Wells; Big Festival at Alex James' Farm, Kingham, Chipping Norton; and Into The Wild at Chiddinglye Farm, East Grinstead, West Sussex. The calendar also signposts facilitator training, which is hosted on the founder's own website. The company invites enquiries from venues and from organisers wanting its team to make and serve cacao at a function, via a dedicated events email address. It markets cacao as a better alternative to coffee, citing theobromine as supporting alertness without overstimulating the nervous system. Its cacao is also stocked by third parties: The Eight Day Cafe in Manchester, Elm Yoga in Cornwall and Earthfare in Glasgow. It describes itself as run by a small team.
