Heart of the Rose Festival

Heart of the Rose Festival is a multi-day women's gathering held on the land at Eridge Park in East Sussex, described by its organisers less as a festival and more as a Mystery School. It brings together 500 or more women to honour what they call the way of the Heart, the wild mysteries of the Feminine, and the Feminine path of Awakening. The gathering works with the symbol and frequency of the rose as a way to heal, rebalance and restore on personal, collective and ancestral levels. The programme is workshop-based and ceremonial, weaving in council work and communal practices, alongside offerings such as the Enchanted Glade Sauna. The in-person festival runs every other year, with the 2026 edition taking place from 3 to 7 September under the theme LISTEN DEEPLY, an invitation to women's collective wisdom and planetary responsibility. A concurrent men's gathering, the Brotherhood of the Rose, runs alongside for a smaller group. Beyond the biennial festival, the wider ecosystem includes an online global community launched in 2025, the year-round Eridge Rose Community, the Rose Mystery School, and seasonal Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox gatherings. The ethos centres on feminine spirituality, deep listening, and awakening in connection with the land and one another.
