Love Jam Bath is the Bath chapter of Lovejam's nationwide network of Local Jams, part of a UK non-profit community organisation building alcohol-free platforms for self-expression, connection and positive transformation. Like the wider Lovejam movement, the Bath gatherings are run by volunteers and are usually donation-based to keep them accessible to all. Events are held at St Marks Community Centre in Bath and typically feature open mic and open jam sessions, meditation, play and a vegan cafe, in an atmosphere that is both alcohol-free and family-friendly. The gatherings are rooted in Lovejam's pillars of radical acceptance, equality, authentic expression, kindness and love, offering a safe container of co-creation. The intention is to provide the joy, connection, creativity and acceptance many people seek in nightlife or social settings, but within a sober, wholesome and grassroots space open to everyone.
