The Shamanic Gathering is run by Shamanic Gathering UK CIC, a registered Community Interest Company (No. 09589569). It holds a five-day residential gathering at the Earth Spirit Centre, Peak Lane, Compton Dundon, Somerset TA11 6PE; the 2026 gathering runs 9–13 September. The organisers describe it as a meeting place for seekers, healers and wisdom keepers, rooted in earth-based traditions. The programme is built around ceremony, drumming, music, storytelling and guided journeys, alongside workshops led by invited teachers. A teachers and workshops page lists the practitioners taking part and their individual offerings, and prospective workshop leaders apply through the site's "Host a workshop" call, which had closed for the 2026 gathering. The 2026 theme is "20 Years of Medicine. One Circle. One Fire", and the site describes the circle as a community built over two decades. A previous-gatherings page holds video from the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2023 gatherings. Attendance is priced in two parts: a workshops fee, plus a separate accommodation-and-food charge. Accommodation at the venue includes camping in the grounds, bringing your own motorhome or campervan, a shared room, a seven-woman dormitory, an on-site caravan and a shared en-suite room, with a single supplement subject to availability. Two day-attendee rates are offered for people not staying overnight. Early-bird pricing and a staged payment plan are available, and workshop teachers pay a reduced workshops fee. Payment is taken by bank transfer, PayPal or card, and a place is confirmed only once the first or full payment has been made. The venue has a main hall with oak timbers and underfloor heating, a dining hall with teas and coffee available 24 hours a day, and seven acres of gardens and fields between two nature reserves. Meals are vegetarian, using garden produce and locally sourced ingredients when available; gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan diets are available for a surcharge. The site addresses both people taking their first steps on the shamanic path and those who have walked it for many years. The organising team is listed as Cath Brew, Ali Wells and Howard Malpas.
